Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate individuals - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Check patients in and out, collect co-pays, and verify insurance information - Maintain patient records and update necessary information - Assist with data entry tasks, including entering patient information into the computer system - Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as filing and organizing documents - Provide general administrative support to the office staff
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology is a plus - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in computerized systems, including data entry and using software such as Google Suite and Apple OS - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Training - 2 week orientation period ( must be capable of performing at or near full proficiency by end of 2 weeks) - preferred if applicant is able to travel to Soldotna to complete orientation - current scheduling needs:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
